El Nido Feliz (The Happy Nest) is a non-profit organisation, country house and almond farm. Our homely place is 900m up in the mountains, inland 60km west of Valencia.
It has gradually developed into an introduction to off-grid lifestyle and a place for cultural exchange, permaculture and art.
We are far from the hustle and bustle of city life with the nearest village, called Siete Aguas, located 10km away. 14 km on the opposite side is the other village, Chera, and the stunning nature reserve, Chera – Sot de Chera.
We are an Estonian couple permanently living here with chickens, goats, a donkey, bees, a cat and a teckel. We intent to live in harmony with nature and apply the principles and working methods of permaculture. The idea of the place is to arrive at a more or less self-sustaining household as much as it is possible in modern world.
We open our home and hearts to people from all over the world in order to share life experiences, ideas and lots of happiness – it truly is one of the best parts of our life.
One room with a large bed for two people awaits the guests. And another room for three people with one large bed and one single bed.
